Chelsea Thomas Potarazu is a Supervisee in Social Worker under the supervision of Erin Guiffre LCSW, BCBA, LBA. I am guided by a commitment to affirming care, inclusivity, and empowerment. I believe in honoring individual identities and journeys, prioritizing self-acceptance and authenticity over conformity to societal norms if that is your journey. I emphasize creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel validated and empowered to navigate their unique experiences. I often work with a diverse age range of clients with a focus on anxiety, ADHD, Autism, LGBTQIA+, stress, Depression, self-esteem, interpersonal conflicts, and improvement in general well-being.
My speciality is a diverse and integrated approach. My style of therapy is person-centered focused. That means we go at your pace and focus on areas that you want to work on. If there is a day to you want to pivot to another goal we will do that. I utilize cognitive restructuring, ACT therapy, and mind-body connection at the nervous system level.
Together, we will explore your strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and cultivate resilience as you move towards a more fulfilling and empowered life that you want. You deserve a space where you can be unapologetically yourself and to accomplish your goals.
